The sales and technical team from ACT will be going on tour in June giving a sneak peek of the upcoming ACT! 2011. Accent Gold Solutions has been chosen as host. If you’re interested in seeing the new version (should be released by the end of the summer) and getting answers to your questions from the ACT team–come join us on Thursday, June 10 from 8:00 to 11:45am at the Hilton Irvine-Orange County Airport in Irvine, CA. You’ll also get a vision of what is now available in ACT customization (perhaps take away a new idea of what could happen with your database) and ACT’s new Business Services. At the end of the show, we will have a drawing with several giveaways worth $1000s. There is no cost to attend. Click

According to Robin Dunbar, Professor of Evolutionary Anthropology at the University of Oxford, our brains can handle only about 150 friendships – a number which might be a far cry from what your Facebook profile states.
This study, which is now referred to as “Dunbar’s number,” was originally based on research done in the 1990s, before Facebook, Bebo, LinkedIn and MySpace were a part of our daily lives.
When reexamining the topic, Dunbar surprisingly found that the number, 150, still stands as the approximate max for the number of friends one’s brain can handle, regardless of the new social networking technology.
So I ask you this: How many friends do you REALLY have on Facebook?
