Microsoft Dynamics CRM: The Edge

Microsoft Dynamics CRM is more than a management tool, it is a database at its very core. It is where a user can enter relevant data about his customers, a company’s employees, their roles, their contact persons, what they purchased, their issues, their contact details, and more. Microsoft Dynamics CRM goes above and beyond traditional databases because of the various built-in tools that assist any business in the management of its relationship with its customers. With the density of the CRM competition in the market, it is always best to look at the potential CRM integration at hand. Microsoft Dynamics CRM is the only CRM solutions that can conveniently integrate into the widely used Microsoft Office Outlook. That’s already a lot to consider.

Sales Automation

With Microsoft Dynamics CRM, a business can automatically add accounts and track associated contacts. It can also conveniently add leads and track them as they go through the sales process. While these are being done, it adds more value to the operations by entering opportunities and associate them with accounts, contacts, or leads. This is very important as it will reduce the stress that comes with the process by almost a radical percentage. Furthermore, this CRM solution is also capable of maintaining a central list of products and create price lists with or without discount codes that can effectively manage pricing. Other functions include the easy generation of quotes, orders, and invoices for sales, tracking competitor information, and automated correspondence with direct integration into Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word.

Marketing Automation

Microsoft Dynamics CRM is highly effective in creating marketing lists of leads, accounts, and contacts that will be very useful in establishing and managing marketing campaigns. This will elevate the processes of the business operation to a higher level, as it will automatically track the effectiveness of its marketing efforts.

CRM Customer Service Feature

Customers are the most important assets for every business. That is why the maintenance of the business’ relationship with its current and potential customer base is highly essential for every company. This concept is not left out by Microsoft Dynamics CRM. In a systematic configuration, it ensures to manage customer support contracts, track support cases filed during a customer contact, and maintain a knowledge base of information for internal staff working on service requests. This will guarantee that all customer concerns are addressed by the company.

Impressive Performance by Microsoft Dynamics

August 10th, 2011 by

Microsoft Dynamics: Up by 19%

Microsoft Dynamics operation closed out the year in June 30 with a bang, reporting impressive revenues in the software business that is 19 percent higher than what is yielded in the last quarter of the fiscal year of 2010. This truly deserves applause because of its consistency to be at the top of its game, as shown by its top performance of being 10 percent higher every year. These are all being highlighted in the company’s earnings report for 2011.

Microsoft Business Division

Despite all these numbers, a select few still choose to be the skeptics. But that’s understandable, in a world that’s tight in competition. But the fact is, those numbers support the spreading whispers and acclamations that June with Microsoft Dynamics was one of the best months ever. Conventional practice had taught us that the percentage changes are the only numbers released about Microsoft Business Solutions and Dynamics. Actual results are being kept safe by its parent Microsoft Business Division.

Microsoft Dynamics Expectations

Nevertheless, this growth had outranked the expected rise of projects in the Microsoft Business Division. Hard facts will reveal that the division yielded fourth quarter revenue of $5.78 Billion. That’s a 7 percent jump from revenue of $5.38 Billion in 2010. Exciting things are even being broadcasted to arrive, especially with the addition of Exchange, Sharepoint, and Link to the multi-year agreements. We are surely being prepped up for brighter things with Microsoft Dynamics.

CRM Solutions for Business: Top 3 FAQs

July 27th, 2011 by

There are a lot of options to choose from if you intend to find the best CRM software solution for your business. After all, you have the entire worldwide web to start your research. There’s a broad selection waiting to get your attention, from freeware and open-source contact management applications to commercial mid-market CRM and enterprise-level CRM systems. Yours must be an informed decision.

Just like any other level-minded businessman, making a shortlist of possible CRM software solutions will help you make a decision that is well-versed and based on accurate facts. In the selection process, you must consider the reach that independent research can get the products into the market or within your niche. It is also important to come up with your own set of questions that will serve as criteria to the bidding process. The apparent competition that will be imposed on the vendors, business partners, consultants, or resellers will definitely give you an edge in coming up with a reliable shortlist.

Here are 3 recommended questions that might help you make that decision:

1. Is The CRM Software Flexible Enough For My Business?

The most helpful CRM solutions are those that work well with any business setup, regardless of how complicated its processes are. Some CRM solutions are designed to meet only one requirement and are usually rendered useless when exposed to a more complex business process. Meanwhile, CRM solutions like Microsoft Dynamics CRM have been tested to yield a performance level that exceeds conventional expectations and have been exposed to highly intricate processes with excellent results. By setting this standard, you are guaranteed that your CRM solution will not jeopardize your business in any way.

2. How About CRM Synchronization to My Current System?

The danger that is involved in the purchase of just about any CRM software is the possibility that it might not perform flawlessly with your current working system. The chances of this application to not meet the demands of your business are very high if its compatibility is in question. Therefore, your second priority must take into account the smooth integration of the CRM solution to your software. A good example would be that of Microsoft Dynamics CRM. The fact that it can work better with Outlook is promising enough for your business, considering that it is developed by the same company.

3. What are the CRM Costs and Pricing?

There’s nothing more straightforward than that. You need a CRM solution that can help your business and you need to know if it’s worth your hard-earned money. Beware of internet marketing scams that promise you free or cheap download. Keep in mind that you cannot afford making the wrong decision in getting yourself a CRM solutions package. Remember as well that you are bound to pay what you want to get. If you want your business to succeed because of this package, then that mindset must guide your budget plans.

Once you have come up with a shortlist for the purchase of a CRM solutions package, you are now ready to move on to the next step. This will include an in-depth discussion of all your business objectives and how possible CRM solutions can help you achieve these goals. A consultation with a CRM specialist will also help greatly in your discretion. If you let all these ideas guide your decision, then you are guaranteed to find that CRM solution that will work perfectly for your business strategies, goals, and demands.

Salesforce and What Else? (The Search for Better CRM Solutions)

July 26th, 2011 by

Finding Better Alternatives

The recent blog article by CRM analyst Lauren Carlson had acknowledged Salesforce.com as the leading CRM provider in the world today. This comment is made despite the differing opinions that are yielded in various CRM comparison surveys. Salesforce must have gotten this recognition because of its status as one of the first SaaS-based CRM products that were released in the market. However, the prevalent trend in the market today is to not patronize products that have lingered or have monopolized the industry for quite some time. CRM users are now looking into other options that would provide them a better alternative for their company and a more effective solution to their business processes. In this article, we will classify the top 5 alternative CRM solutions to Saleforce.com into 2 categories of focus: The amount of programs that can be integrated in to the CRM and the level of user support.

Integrated Programs

The first system that comes to mind when users try to compare CRM programs is Microsoft Dynamics CRM. It is perceived to be convenient in the level of integration because of the fact that it easily synchronizes with all the other Microsoft applications that almost every person in the planet is already aware of. That means that a company does not have to bother spending money and efforts in training its personnel on new programs anymore. However, that is hardly the need for any business whose objective is to seek an effective CRM solution. The next option would be Netsuite’s OneWorld CRM, known for its exceptional performance in accounting and ERP. It is also a program where users can expect a solid and complete integration because of tools that are useful for sales and service automation.

User-Friendly Applications

The third option is from Oracle with its latest release, CRM On-Demand 18. Its arrival is very significant due to the fact that it differs highly from Salesforce’s CRM software because of its single-tenant architecture, a huge drift from the usual expectations of Salesforce clients who have been used to the inconveniences of a multi-tenant structure. This setting is very important at the viewpoint of those who wanted data privacy and sole ownership of utilized software and hardware. The fourth option is Sage’s SalesLogix, which is known for its firm foundation in global enterprise business processes. That last but not the least option is SugarCRM, which is undoubtedly the world’s most popular and fast-rising CRM solution in the world today. This status is due to its exceptional ability to adapt to the business processes of the client rather than the usual trend of businesses adapting its processes to the CRM solution, a common Salesforce glitch. Sugar is also user-friendly and easy to assimilate into the business operations, having been packed with few but highly necessary tools to get pressure off the new user and enhancing productivity rates for the company.
